Jeonbuk Hyundai's players have been sent off for two consecutive games but have won four games in a row.

Jeonbuk Hyundai won the 1-0 away match against Gangwon FC in the 33rd round of Hana One Q K League 1 2021 held at Gangneung Sports Complex on the 2nd. With this victory, Jeonbuk took the top spot with 63 points from 18 wins, 9 draws, and 5 losses. The rankings will change depending on the result of the Suwon FC-Ulsan match. Gangwon failed to add points and failed to rebound in the rankings.

Gangwon played the game with a 4-4-2 tactic. Jung Min-woo and Ko Mu-yeol formed the two-top attacking team at the forefront, and Kim Dae-won, Hankook Young, Hwang Moon-ki, and Lim Chang-woo were placed in the second line. The back defense consisted of Song Jun-seok, Ashulmatov, Lim Chae-min, and Kim Young-bin, and goalkeeper Lee Beom-soo.

Jeonbuk put Lee Seung-gi instead of Choi Young-Joon due to injury. Gangwon scored an equalizer in extra time of the second half, but it was nullified by an offside decision. Jeonbuk won a valuable victory by blocking Gangwon’s offensive well.
